Monster Trucks

The boys went to see the monster trucks last night at Wayville. That would be Brad, Ewan, Frank and Ryan. They all had a good time even though Ryan got a little bored and Ewan fell asleep. There were monster trucks, quad bikes, freestyle motorcross, fireworks, V6 sprint cars and demolition derby. Cool. I'm not sure they will go again soon, but it was fun for something different.

Easter has arrived at the Coulter Household

Miss Alicia has sprung into Easter in a big way. Ewan can eat his chocolate eggs now, without drawing attention to himself. Alicia not so much, yet. Can you tell.

Ewans news at school

Ewan has NEWS at school on Mondays which means he has to talk about a certain topic. This week it is About Australia. I have put together a form for Ewan to talk about and I have to say I am very pleased with it. It is the capital cities of the where he has visited.

Cat, cats, cats

As we know Brad doesn't like cats but Ewan and Alicia couldn't put this one down. No, we do not want any cats as presents. Don't even think about it.

Colouring In

If Ewan does anything really well, it would be colouring in. He takes great pride in colouring in between the lines and uses beautiful bright colours. I am very proud of his colouring in. Alicia also likes to colour in, and isn't always as careful but still likes to show off her work.

New bathroom on its way

I told you it wouldn't take long. Brad demolished the main bathroom on the weekend. It is currently a pile of dirt in a big hole. He assures me that all is good and its on track. Time to order the new window and Sean will be back to plumb it tomorrow. I'm already sick of the dust and dirt. Hopefully we will have a very lovely looking slab before the weekend.

Cameron turns 3

Happy 3rd Birthday Cameron. He had a big weekend last weekend. Party after party after party. He would have been tuckered out. He finally went on the jumping castle (thank god) says mum and dad. The wading pool was a real hit, a bit of a no brainer really considering it was 40 degrees. I would have been in the pool aswell if I could have. I think Cameron had a good time, he certainly wasn't grumbling. He has grown up in the last 3 years.

Kids are adorable

When you look at the photo, butter wouldn't melt in their mouths. Why is it that I end up yelling at least once a day. They don't listen. They do their own thing and that is it. But look at them, aaaaaawwwwwwwww

Easter has arrived

Ewan has been asking about Easter lately. I would assume that they are discussing it at school. Obviously, being a catholic school. Well today he wanted to ask Easter bunny if he could have goggles for Easter as well as some chocolate because he prefers Alicias goggles. Personally I thought this was a good idea. So I suggested we write Easter bunny a letter. Ewan dictated it and I wrote it. He then copied the letters underneath and did a really good job. I love it. Then he wanted to post it in the red postbox. You can imagine my head was running 10 to the dozen. Oh my god we can't actually post it, so I convinced him that we should put it in our letter box and then the postie will collect it for us and put it in the Easter bunny box at the post office. This all occurred tonight. I have since collected the letter again and have put it in the sentimental box. I had a really good time and it will be something that I will cherish for a long time. Lets hope he never finds the letter.

Who cut their hair???

Yes. That would be me. I wanted a change. It wasn't just cut, it is short. I love, love, love it, Brad not so much, Ewan loves it aswell. Alicia said, "Too much." She has since been able to play with it as she normally does and wasn't too upset. Let me know what you think. It didn't take me long to decide. Just ask Natasha. I had been thinking about it for ages but wasn't confident enough. In the end its only hair, so if I didn't like it then it would grow.

Ewan has an astigmatism

What is astigmatism you may ask. Well I did. Apparently his cornea is football shaped and it should be round which means he has two focal points, hence some things are blurred. What do we do about this. Glasses probably or possibly. Ewan doesn't seem to be having a problem at the moment but I wouldn't really know. I don't know what stage he should be up too. We have parent/teacher talks at the end of March. I suppose will be know more then.
