Brad has 3 kids????

I wonder when Brad had enough time to get/have another kid?? Only joshing, its Keira Belle all grown up, well almost. She is only 6 weeks old and growing nicely. Everytime we see her, she is a content little thing. Only screaming when hungry. Well if I was hungry I'd be screaming too, if I could. Brad hasn't lost the touch. By the time Leanne was leaving, Keira was asleep on Brads belly. Something about that belly, Ewan was fond of it aswell if I remember rightly.

Wedding No.2

We had another family wedding the other day. The ceremony was held at Thalassus Park with a very cool lookout. Andrew wasn't nervous and Brooke looked lovely. This makes for a good wedding. The kids were good except for the running around and Alicia had to go to the toilet as soon as the ceremony started. Typical. Thank god for flower gardens and retaining walls. The reception was at their house, where we partook in daiquiri's and chardonnay. Mum was plastered literally by about 6.30. We never saw her, because she was too busy mingling. I was gonna ring and find out how she faired the next day but I was too scared. ha ha ha. I think she might slow down for a couple of weeks, that was the second time in 5 days that she has drunk too much. She had a good time anyway.

The ensuite is almost finished

Praise the Lord....The ensuite is basically finished. All I need is a soap dish and shelf installed. We have both of these items but have been a little confused as to where they should live in the shower. However, we are using the ensuite as we should. It is absolute bliss. Considering we have never had a separate shower, only a shower/bath. It is huge and more than one person can fit, don't ask me how I know this. I will give Brad about 2 weeks before he starts to demolish the main bathroom, so if we thought 4 people using the main bathroom was messy, imagine the ensuite with 4. I'll have to come up with new rules.

Who bought a bike

Who bought a bike? Well, that would be me. I bought a push bike and helmet for under $100. That is impressive. It will be the first bike I have ever bought. I usually had hand me downs and I can only really remember owning 2 other bikes. The bike was put together by Brad but hasn't been ridden yet because he has to adjust the brakes. Basically there aren't any brakes (or was that done on purpose????) Anyway, I'm another step closer to being fit. I just have to use it now.

Ewans explanations

Tonight I walked past the bathroom whilst the kids were in the bath and I heard Ewan tell Alicia that they came out of mummys belly. Now this conversation started because Ewan and I were discussing his college and I was explaining when and where the picture was. Of course there is a picture of me very pregnant, so I said, that he was in my tummy.
Its funny what they pick up on. He obviously thought it was news enough to tell Alicia. I don't think she was too interested but Ewan was adamant she should know. He's such a big brother.

Chelsea turned 8

Yes, you read correctly. Chelsea is now 8 and not too happy about how much homework she is getting from school. We went over there last night for a beautiful, huge tea. Roast with all the trimmings. Susy did a marvelous job. And to top off the evening, we hardly saw the kids all night, they were too busy playing. Happy Birthday Chels

Why oh Why

What would possess Ewan to cut his uniform with scissors. I don't know because we all know what trouble he has gotten into before with scissors. Well he did cut his uniform and I was not impressed. I didn't rant and rave, though I wanted to but I did ring Brad. I explained to Ewan that the money for the next uniform will be coming from him. Not that he understands that concept but at least I'm not paying again. I will be putting a note in his piggy bank as a reminder to him.

Alicia is helping with the dishes

Finally I have someone to help me with the dishes. I know this is a novelty and it will wear off, but I am enjoying the moment. She isn't too bad at it and will only get better with more practice. I just have to work out how to get Ewan to wash the dishes, and I'm all set.

Newest edition to the Benincasa family tree

Julianne, Jono and Jake welcomed William James to the world on 22/1/08. He is a beautiful baby with a lovely temperament. Congratulation Julianne, the family is growing.

Ice skating oh my god

Ice skating is exactly what Ryan, Chelsea and even Frank did the other night. No casualties, no one lost any figers or toes, so you have to be happy with that. By all reports they had a good time and it may even be on the agenda again some time. Its nice to try new things, even if you are freezing your butts off.

I've regained my babies

As everyone knows, Ewan went to school this week. Prior to that, whilst I was thinking about how big he got all of a sudden, I had this brainwave to do a college of baby photos. One photo frame each. That way I can look back and remember how small they were and what a long way they have come. It took me a while but they are finished. I love them. Everytime I look at them memories come flooding back. I understand the saying, even though they may grow up, they will always be my babies. I feel very lucky to have them.
