Brad has a new job

Brad has a new job and it is a happy happy thing. He's branching out (yet again) into something bigger and better. I am happy that he is finally thinking about himself in a positive light. He had to work very hard to get the job, it certainly wasn't easy but he has proven himself again.

Its a proud, proud moment when your kids can swim without floaties. I know they are never completely out of danger but it does lift the anxiety a little. Everything finally came together, and she understands the concept of using her arms, aswell as legs, aswell as breathing. She does have a bad habit of doing breast stroke instead of freestyle. That could be inherited because I do breast stroke. ha ha ha

Chelsea turns 9

No, they don't get younger, they only get older. Chelsea turned 9 and we had a pool party to celebrate. It has been mega hot here for almost 2 weeks. Even grandma had a dip in the pool. The icecream cake, almost didn't make it because we were too busy getting photos. I hope Chelsea had a good day, we wish her a Happy Birthday.

I am a Uni student

If you asked me 2 years ago if I would be studying at uni, I would have said are you mad. But believe it or not, in about 3 weeks I will be a full fledged uni student, along with timetable, research and reading. I am looking forward to it, even though it seems a mammoth task to incorporate kids, work, house and uni. Other people have done it and with less support than I have. No doubt there will be saga's along the way, but the motto and mantra is, 'One day at a time'. Wish me luck.

Keira's 1st Birthday

A lot has happened in the Coulter household in the last few weeks. Keira turned 1. So Leanne had a lovely birthday party with all the family, including a wading pool which we certainly needed. The older kids had a ball in and out of the pool. Keira loved all her presents and seemed very content to just 'hang' out.
