Can Grandmas swim?

If you are in doubt Grandma's do swim. Its not too often mum gets into the pool completely with swimming togs but here she is frolicking with the kids. They get really excited when she goes in the pool and then start hanging off her and jumping around her. It can get pretty full on and they generally don't have mercy. The boat seems to be the calming effect. If you are in there, then there isn't that much tom foolery. Normally she is seen clothed, dangling Keira into the pool which is starting to get more difficult because Keira wants in fully.

Its a proud, proud moment when your kids can swim without floaties. I know they are never completely out of danger but it does lift the anxiety a little. Everything finally came together, and she understands the concept of using her arms, aswell as legs, aswell as breathing. She does have a bad habit of doing breast stroke instead of freestyle. That could be inherited because I do breast stroke. ha ha ha

Up, Up and away

Ewan knows the meaning of up, up and away thanks to Brad. They are starting to be creative now and have developed some awesome manoeuvres.

The pool got a work out yesterday

Ryan, Chelsea and Frank came over yesterday and we had a day in the pool. Everyone had a good time including myself. I am very sore from the workout, we were throwing balls back and forth in the pool. My shoulder hurts along with my elbow, wrist and hand. I think I used my legs aswell. By the end of the session, Ewan was doing somersaults into the pool, Chelsea was jumping in the deep end of the pool, only with floaties on, Alicia was also jumping in the deep end and Ryan did everything from diving, somersaults, and hand stands. Go figure, we have some waterbabies in the family.
