Information Session for Uni

I did the dumbest thing I have ever done the other night. I dragged Brad along to a couple of Uni Information Sessions. He didn't whinge too much, however he was bribed with a free sausage sizzle and coffee. And thank god for feedback sheets, because what would he have doodled on? He did a magnificent drawing of the Mad Max car and promptly let me know it by elbowing me in the ribs. "Hey, look at what I drew". Yeah, no worries Brad, I'm glad you are taking it ALL in. Next time I won't bother.

Applied for Uni

Alright. I've done it, I have applied for Uni. A couple more stages to go. I still have to do the STAT workshop in October. Sit the STAT test (need all the help I can get there) in November and by mid January I should know if I got in, and into what. By that time, it will have been a full year, from when I started this crazy project. Then the real fun begins. Arranging my schedule, arranging Alicias schedule, arranging work, helping Ewan with his schooling. Brad will have to sort himself out. Should I shoot myself now. And NO Natasha I am not getting ahead of myself. Would I do that????? You know me too well.
Lets start again, I need to be accepted first. Oh thats right. I'm excited and would be even more excited if I was given that redundancy. Maybe I should check out that new clairvoyant and see what she has to say.....

Open Day at Uni

You read correctly. I went to an open day at Uni to see what they had to say. I want to go to Uni next year and do a Bachelor of Education (Junior Primary/primary) who would have thought. I have had enough of the finance sector and there is absolutely no personal gratification in the role that I am doing. I need a change or I am going to loose it.
It all sounded good. I'll probably put down junior primary, then early learning, then primary/middle in that order. I have done my personal competency (thanks Gill for checking it) and all I have to do now is apply online and do the STAT test. Hopefully the workshop will help with regard to that. Then cross my fingers and hope for the best.

Assignment No 2 down

Assignment 2 was a pain in the neck. I learnt about Ned kelly and the shoot out at Glenrowan in 1880. One subject that I didn't necessarily need to know about. I haven't got the assignment back yet but I have received the next book. I don't think I will do as well as Assignment 1 but you get that. I think I still learnt quite a lot. So so far I have done half the course in 6mths and you are given 18mths to finish. I don't think I will do anything until after Christmas. Break time for me, I am on Summer holidays, Yeah.

I got an 'A'

I received the results for my first assignment and I got an 'A'. I was really stoked, I did put in the effort and it paid off. Now I need to get back into the swing of things and get focused. 3 assignments left and counting.
