How kids measure their success

We as adults have a different perspective on success for kids than they do. For instance, adults think a success is when kids can feed themselves, walk, talk, you know that type of thing. Alicia had a milestone just the other day. I didn't think it a huge success but who am I to define success. She was excited because she could open a packet of chips by herself........I didn't understand the significance other than, that's one more thing I didn't have to do for her. She thinks she is the beez kneez. Well done Alicia, I can't wait until you can cook tea.
