Pepper

I haven't posted in ages about Pepper so I thought I would flick a couple of photos in. She turned 10 last year in September. She is still a very cool dog, even though she hogs the bed. She gets cold at night and wants to cuddle. She still likes going in the car, regardless of where you are going and is even tolerant of Billy, which is Leannes dog. Jessie, Leannes cat, is still a favourite and it doesn't matter where you are, she wants to be with you.

Pretty Pepper

Pepper has had her hair cut and she looks 100% beautiful. I think she feels good too.

Pepper the stalker

Pepper loves to stalk birds and since we have lovely big French doors out the back, she can see all and every bird. There she was yesterday slowly but surely stalking this poor and unsuspecting pigeon. Pepper isn't quick enough to actually catch a bird but she has fun trying. Excuse Peppers butt in the photo

Poor Pepper

Pepper and I have some bonding time, usually when I go to bed, either to sleep or watch TV. She jumps up and I rub her little tummy. She loves it. What she doesn't like, is when Brad comes to bed. He doesn't want her on the bed and certainly lets her know. He points his finger at her and says, "Off". This is usually enough for her to get off the bed independently and go lie on her pillow. The other night, she wasn't going to budge, as you can see from the photo. If it meant having to lie on me, that was going to happen and it did.

Pep and Ewan

There has not always been a mutual respect for each other. Pepper had to adjust quite dramatically when Ewan came along and as he grew, she had to adjust further. I think she has coped quite well considering she has to contend with 2 ratbags.

Ewan has changed his interaction with Pep. He is less forceful and annoying, more gentle and respectful. This in turn has changed Pep, she is more accepting. She will allow him to rub her belly and won't flinch when Ewan is near by. It is nice to see this happening, maybe one day she will love him as much as he loves her.

Alicia on the other hand is a different story.

Peppie loves her teddy

Its been a while since Pepper decided to play with her teddy but this morning, she obviously felt a need.

She was having a ball, running after it and being teased by it. She walked around with it in her mouth for ages. Funny dog.
